Air pressure

Kids learned about air pressure in preparation for the upcoming rocketry unit. Above, Sam and Quinn pose in front of a Bernoulli principle demonstration.

Lydia is being suspended by two Magdeburg hemispheres, to get kids to realize that there is around 14.7 lbs./sq.in. of air pressure all around us.

Devin is using geometry formulas to derive how much force it would take to separate two perfect Magdeburg hemispheres (and to find out why Lydia isn't falling in the picture above).
