I received my undergraduate degree in mathematics at WNE
I received my Masters degree in education at UMass in Amherst. This is where the best thing that ever happened in my life took place - I met my wife.
As luck would have it, my first teaching experience was with an extremely student-centered group of teachers and professionals. I was a co-winner of the above award with Steve Kocur, the social studies teacher with which I team taught.
I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2008.
I then renewed my National Board certification in 2018.
I was bestowed the honor of, "Distinguished Teacher of Maine" in 2011, and given a sabbatical to begin creating the Polynomials course, which I currently teach.
