Blueberry muffins

Ingredients½ cup sugar½ cup milk⅓ cup vegetable oil1 egg1 ½ cups all-purpose bread flour1 ½ teaspoons baking powder½ teaspoon salt¾ cup frozen blueberries
Directions1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a muffin pan. 2. Put the sugar, milk and oil in a medium bowl. Stir with a wooden spoon.3. Beat the egg with a fork and add to mixture.4. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt to sugar mix and stir. Batter should be lumpy.5. Stir in blueberries. 6. Place batter in the muffin pan and bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Serves 6

French Toast

Ingredients

6-8 pieces of bread - 2 per person

2 eggs - per person

¼ cup milk - per group

Directions

1. Beat all your eggs and ¼ milk in a bowl together.

2. Dredge both sides of the bread slices in the egg mixture.

3. Spray a skillet with pam and place two slices of bread in the pan. Let cook 1 min and flip to cook 1 min on second side.

4. Repeat with all pieces of bread. Serve warm with syrup.

Serves 3-4

Pretzels

Day 1: Ingredients⅔ cup lukewarm water (NOT HOT)1 ⅛ tsp. Yeast1 ½ - 2 cups flour1 tsp. Salt½ tsp. Sugar1 Tbsp. Oil
DirectionsIn a large bowl, use a wire whisk to combine water, sugar, and yeast.Use a wooden spoon to gradually add first cup of flour. Gradually add second cup of flour until dough formsAdd the remaining flour to the dough slowly and use the mixer with the dough hook to knead the dough for 7 minutes.When the dough is not sticky, place in a plastic bag. Label bag with date, period and kitchen number.
Day 2 Ingredients¼ cup butter (melted)Coarse salt
DirectionsPreheat oven to 425 degrees and prepare pan with parchment paper.Cut dough into equal pieces for your group to each have two.Form into pretzel shape. Brush pretzels with a little butter and sprinkle with salt. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield 6-8 pretzels

Pancakes

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1 Tbsp. sugar

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. salt

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 cup milk

2 tbsp. butter, melted


Directions

1. Heat skillet to medium

2. Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl.

3. Whisk egg, milk, and butter in a second bowl

4. Combine 2 bowls of ingredients

5. Butter griddle (1/2 t. butter)

6. Place batter in pan and cook until bubbles appear on one side

7. Flip pancake and cook about one minute on 2nd side

Yield: 6-7 pancakes
