Cake Pops Day 1

Day 1: Ingredients½ box cake mix½ cup water¼ cup oil1 ½ eggs (mix 1 egg in bowl take out 1 ½ tsp and share the rest)
Directions: Day 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare pan with linersUse a whisk to combine all ingredients in a bowl until not lumpy Line your pan and scoop mix into your pan. Bake for 19-23 minutesLabel a gallon size bag with your kitchen number and period for overnight storage. (the cake is much easier to work with if it has been in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Cake Pops Days 2 and 3

Day 2 - Forming the Cake Pops
Ingredients:¼ cup frosting
Directions - Break up cake in a large mixing bowl with a fork. Mix in frosting with a forkLine baking sheet with parchment paper. Use your ice cream scooper to get even amounts of cake and form each into a ball. Place on the lined baking sheet. Cover all cake with saran wrap tightly, label and place in the fridge for overnight storage.
Day 3 - Dip and DecorateHeat up chocolate candy and 1 TBSP shortening in 15 second intervals in microwave until melted. Dip stick into chocolate and then insert into cake pop.Dip cake pop into chocolate, drain excess and place on parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles as desired. Place into freezer for 10 minutes to harden chocolate.
Step 1 - Crust ¼ cup Oreos (crushed)1 ½ tablespoons MELTED butter2 tablespoons sugar
DirectionsPrep pan by placing parchment in the bottom of each muffin cupSpray with non-stick spray.Pat crumb mix into the bottom of the pan.

Cheese Cake

Step 2 - Filling 8 ounces cream cheese¼ cup sugar¼ teaspoon vanilla1 egg
DirectionsMix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended. Add eggs
Step 3 - Bake Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Carefully pour and spread filling into each muffin cup evenly. Place the muffin pan on the cookie sheet and set carefully on the lowest rack of the oven. Pour water into the cookie sheet and close the oven door. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the middle is almost set. Cool and refrigerate overnight.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients1 1/8 c. all purpose flour½ tsp. baking soda½ tsp. salt½ c. butter (softened)3/8 c. granulated sugar3/8 c. packed brown sugar½ tsp. vanilla1 egg1 c. Chocolate Chips
Directions:1. Preheat oven to 375, line baking sheet with parchment paper2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl3. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy.4. Add egg to the butter mixture and beat well5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.6. Stir in Chocolate Chips.7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on pan and bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. 8. Place on a cooling rack for 2-3 minutes.
Makes 12 - 18 cookies

Chocolate Crackle Cookies

Ingredients½ cup butter, softened¾ cups sugar1 egg1 tsp. vanilla1 cup all-purpose flour⅓ cup cocoa⅜ tsp baking soda⅛ tsp salt2 ½ oz chocolate chips
Directions: Day 11. Preheat oven to 350 degrees2. Beat butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed in a large bowl until light and fluffy. 3. Stir together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. 4. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, beat until well blended.5. Stir in chocolate chips. 6. Drop cookie batter by tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. 7. Bake 8-10 minutes or until just set. 8. Remove to cooling rack to cool.
Yield: 12-18 cookies

Fruit Pizza Day 1

Day 1: Ingredients½ cup butter½ cup sugar1 egg1-teaspoon baking powder1-½ cups flour½-teaspoon vanilla

FrostingIngredients4 oz cream cheese ¼ cup butter½ tsp. vanilla 1 ½ cup powdered sugar1 ½ tsp. milkDirections1. Blend with a mixer until smooth. Place in a small mixing bowl, cover and label.

Fruit Pizza Day 2


Day 2: DirectionsPreheat your oven to 400 Get your dough and a pizza panPat out dough and bake for 10-12 minutes. Color should be light to golden.Allow cookie to cool and spread frosting on top. Design pizza with cut up fruit of choice. Banana, strawberries, blueberries.
Original Muddy Buddies
Ingredients4 1/2 cups Rice Chex1/2 cup chocolate chips1/4 cup peanut butter (can substitute 1/4 cup marshmallow fluff)2 Tbsp butter½ tsp vanilla3/4 cup powdered sugar
DirectionsMeasure the cereal into a large metal or glass bowl and set aside.Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter (or marshmallow fluff) and butter in a liquid measuring cup for 30 seconds, stir until liquid. Stir vanilla into the melted chocolate, and pour over the cereal. Stir until evenly coated. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the cereal and stir until coated evenly.Place in airtight bags.

Muddy Buddies

S'mores Muddy Buddies
Ingredient List4 cups Rice Chex™ cereal8 oreos, coarsely crushed (about 1 cups)1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips1/4 cup butter cut into Tbsp.1 bag marshmallows
DirectionsMeasure cereal and chocolate chips into a large mixing bowl.Chop oreos so they are bite sized and add to cereal.Melt marshmallows and butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Stir continuously.Pour marshmallow mix onto cereal and stir gently. Spray cutting board and spread cereal into a square shape. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.

Pie Dough


Ingredients3 c. flour1 ½ tsp. salt1 c. shortening12-15 Tbsp. ice water Directions1. Stir flour and salt in a large bowl2. Using a pastry blender, cut the shortening in the flour mix until it looks like cornmeal3. Add tablespoons of water a few at a time until mix forms a soft ball5. Place saran wrap on the counter and flour the surface to roll out.6. Once the dough has been rolled out, pick up with the saran wrap and place in a greased pie pan. 7. Set aside pan for later


Pumpkin Pie Filling

Ingredients¾ c. sugar ½ tsp. salt1 tsp. ground cinnamon ½ tsp. ground ginger¼ tsp. ground cloves 2 eggs14 oz. pumpkin 1 can evaporated milk
Directions1. In a small bowl combine the sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, & cloves.2. Beat the eggs in a large bowl add the pumpkin and until combined3. Slowly add the spice mix to the bowl with the pumpkin and beat.4. Slowly add the evaporated milk to the pumpkin mix while continuing to beat mixture.5. Pour filling into pie crust and place the pie pan on a cookie sheet to prevent spilling in the oven6. Wrap the edges of the pan with tin foil to prevent burning the crust. 7. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 75 min. or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Rock Candy

IngredientsCandy sticksWater in a cupSugar on a plate1 cup water2 -3 cups sugar1 tsp. Kool aide
DirectionsRoll candy stick in water and then in the sugar and set aside.Simmer water in a sauce panAdd sugar slowly until dissolved. (may not need all 3 cups sugar). Add food coloring. Remove sugar mixture from heat and pour into a mason jar.Place a clothes pin on the end of the candy stick and hang in the jar with the colored sugar water. Allow to stand for 3-5 days. Then transfer to hang to dry in an empty jar for 2 weeks.
Yield: 4 rock candies
