Cooking Labs

Here you will find a list of our Cooking experiences for the semester with our recipes and your lab evaluations. We will copy all recipes down in our folders before lab in addition to watching a demonstration on how to complete the product. Hair ties and Closed toe shoes on lab days: If students forget their shoes they will have to miss out on the fun of lab.

Things you must have to be able to participate in kitchen labs.

1. You must have closed toe shoes and your hair tied back completely to be allowed to cook.

2. You must have your signed lab agreement turned in to be allowed to participate in the kitchen.

3. You must pass the safety test with an 80% or better.

4. You will need to fill out a recipe and lab evaluation for each lab.

Our first lab was Rice krispie treats. This lab is a great introduction to the kitchens and how to wash dishes.

Lab Grades - Each is worth 40 points

10 points for the lab evaluation (in complete sentences)

10 points for having your recipe copied

10 points for cleanliness (during virtual - before picture)

10 points for cooperation and effort (during virtual - after picture)
