External Developments

For just over 2 decades Pt England School has worked steadily to raise student achievement outcomes in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

We attacked Reading first, then Maths and lastly Writing.

During the 2nd decade of work we have been working on the integration of eLearning with these developments. We have seen significant shift in student performance when we maintain programme integrity to the design agreements we have around the the delivery of these developments. These are developments that come from working with external or internal developers and then customising the development to best suit our context.

We expect the Pt England version of these external/internal influences to be maintained in every class with as much consistency as possible. They are:

Reading:

The development work we have participated in with Gwyneth Phillips & Jannie Van Hees and the Pt England delivery this has given rise to.

Writing:

The development work we have participated in with Gwyneth Phillips & Jannie Van Hees and the Pt England delivery this has given rise to. Our emphasis most recently has come from the work done with Jannie Van Hees.

Mathematics:

The development work we have done with the Numeracy Project and the refresher courses and the Maths PLD developments which have followed.

Manaiakalani:

The development work which focuses on the integration of eLearning, the Pt England Learning Model, the Literacy Cycle and Learn, Create, Share.
