OHS Spring Concert 2024

Okawville Music Progam

SWIC Professor of Music, Ed Jacobs, came to work with the 4th Grade, Junior High, and High School Bands
on Friday, April 6.

Okawville Jazz Band provided entertainment at the
Village Library Dinner Auction on Saturday, April 7.

2024 OHS Band and Choir Lock-In

A great night of video games, hide-n-seek, pizza,
karaoke, and uncontrollable laughter.

Junior High Musicians take a trip
to the Season Finale of the St. Louis Youth Orchestra
at the Touhill Performing Arts Center
at the University of Missouri St Louis.

Congratulations to our Okawville Band & Choir students!

60 Okawville 5th-12th grade band and choir members performed
at the Washington County Solo and Ensemble contest on Saturday, March 9th.

In total students earned three Perfect Score ratings (HS only), four Division 1 Superior ratings (JH & GS only),
fifty-three Division 1 Excellent ratings, and four Division 2 Good ratings.

High School Students Receiving Special Honors

-Sarah Cook, Aiden Parker, Julia Helbig, and Jared Bollmeier - Perfect Score on their trumpet quartet

-Rodney Helbig - Perfect Score and Best of Day on his baritone solo

-Eva Tooley -a Perfect Score and Best of Day on her flute solo

-Katheryn Forgy - Best of Day on her vocal solo

-Sarah Cook - Best of Day on her trumpet solo
