The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives...one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest interdenominational, school-based, Christian Sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering, and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

The FCA Vision

To see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.

The FCA Mission

To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the followship of the church.

The FCA Values

Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through integrity, serving, teamwork and excellence.

Integrity - We will demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately, and publicly. Serving - We will model Jesus' example of serving. Teamwork - We will express our unity in Christ in all our relationships. Excellence - We will honor and glorify God in all we do.

FCA's Statement of Faith

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

2. We believe that there is only one God, eternal existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men (women) regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Okawville FCA Organization has been a strong influence in this community for over 40 years. Through various fundraisers and private donations the OHS FCA is able to provide leadership training, athletic camp experience, community service projects, and teambuilding activities for our local OHS students. The OHS FCA is currently the largest organization at the High School boasting a membership of over 50 students. Students meet 3 times a week before school and then several times a month for breakfast or night events.
