5 Essentials Annual Survey- Teachers, parents, guardians, and 4th through 12th grade students across Illinois are encouraged to participate in the Illinois 5Essentials Survey to share their thoughts on the important elements of school effectiveness and help guide school improvement. The survey results impact our school report card and guide decision-making processes. We always value constructive and positive feedback at West Washington as we want to be the best school district possible. The survey is open until March 13, 2026. If you are the parent/guardian of students at both OGS and OJSHS please complete the survey once for OGS and once for OJSHS. We appreciate you taking the time for this matter.

IEP/504 Parent Rights
Section 504 requires districts to provide notice to parents explaining any evaluation and placement decisions affecting their children and explaining the parents' right to review educational records and appeal any decision regarding evaluation and placement through an impartial hearing.
The West Washington County Board of Education and administration reserves the right to establish any rules and regulations it deems necessary to promote the welfare of the students and employees and the orderly function of the West Washington C.C.U.S.D. #10 schools.
Equal educational and extracurricular opportunities shall be available for all students without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, religious beliefs, physical and mental handicap, disability, or actual or potential marital or parental status. Further, the District will not knowingly enter into agreements with any entity or any individual that discriminates against students on the basis of sex or any other protected status, except that the District remains viewpoint neutral when granting access to school facilities under Board Policy 8:20, Community Use of School Facilities.
