School Committee members are generally assigned to participate on two subcommittees. In June of each year, members submit their subcommittee preferences to the Chair, who makes all subcommittee assignments for the year. School Committee members are expected to attend subcommittee meetings. If you are unable to attend a meeting, please notify the subcommittee chair or School Committee Secretary as soon as possible (no less than 48 hours prior to the meeting).

(Meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Meetings increase during budget season.)
BUILDING SUBCOMMITTEE: Budge Litchfield, Chair (One meeting per month)
COMMUNICATIONS SUBCOMMITTEE: Willow Cohen, Chair (One meeting per month)
EDUCATION SUBCOMMITTEE: Kate Barrows, Chair (One meeting per month)
PERSONNEL SUBCOMMITTEE: Martha Thurber, Chair
(One meeting per month. Meetings will increase during contract negotiations.)
POLICY SUBCOMMITTEE: Suzanne Crawford, Chair (One meeting per month)
2-D TRANSPORTATION SUBCOMMITTEE: Budge Litchfield, Chair (Meetings as needed)
