What is the "Trailblazer Model"?

The Trailblazer Model at Mohawk Trail Regional School encourages students to create their own personalized pathway to graduation. Not only do students master core content, they do so in ways that allow them to identify and follow their own passions. MTRS students can design their own independent study projects; participate in hands-on learning, internships and early college opportunities; gain personalized support through the Advisory Program; and take new, exciting courses that blend traditional disciplines like art and English (Artglish) or science and ethics (Bioethics).

At MTRS, students can choose from 11 Advance Placement courses, 15 varsity sports and 11 clubs and extra-curricular groups.
