call for submissions

We invite proposals for presentations for this year’s SC17 workshop by Tuesday, August 1 for full consideration.

All presentations can be recorded and may be posted on our YouTube channel following the SC17 Conference, if presenters consent. Slides sets will be posted on this google site.

The workshop’s goal is to foster information exchange on challenges, opportunities, and collaborative activities among people and organizations world-wide.

The SC17 workshop will include:

    • a series of short presentations on:

      • successes, challenges, and innovative new ideas

      • opportunities for collaborations

    • open discussion with the participants

    • a poster session to share information about their programs and activities

    • a resource table to which people are encouraged to bring flyers and announcements of HPC related events, calls for participation, opportunities for student involvement through internships and fellowships, career opportunities, etc.

The Best Practices for HPC Training workshop series, organized by International HPC Training Consortium, brings together specialists from HPC Centers worldwide to share expertise and lessons learned for in-person, web-based and asynchronous HPC training.

Everyone attending the workshop must register for a SC17 workshop and pay the related SC17 conference registration fee.
