A proposal for the Fourth Workshop on Best Practices for HPC Training has been accepted by the SC17 Technical Program. The proposal is available at https://sites.google.com/a/lbl.gov/hpc-training-best-practices/workshops/sc17/4th-workshop-proposal.

We invited proposals for presentations for this year’s SC17 workshop by Tuesday, August 1 for full consideration. The call is posted at https://sites.google.com/a/lbl.gov/hpc-training-best-practices/workshops/sc17/call-for-submissions

All presentations were recorded and will be posted on our YouTube channel following the SC17 Conference.

The workshop’s goal was to foster information exchange on challenges, opportunities, and collaborative activities among people and organizations world-wide.

Per discussions prior to and during the conference, the activities of the International HPC Training Consortium (IHPCTC) are being merged within the ACM SIGHPC Education Chapter. The IHPCTC mailing list is being added to the Education Chapter mailing list.

Additional information about the International HPC Training Consortium is available at https://sites.google.com/a/lbl.gov/hpc-training-best-practices/.

The ACM SIGHPC Education Chapter welcomes people to join. There is a $10 annual fee to join the Chapter.

We look forward to your participation!
