Donation Wish List
Art is one subject area that is materials intensive. Almost every activity requires supplies of some type. We do try to keep our expenses down through careful activity planning and strategic purchases of bulk materials. Still, things get used up, cut apart, and shipped out as art over the course of the year. Some items we need all the time, while others are only used for one or two projects per year. Still other items are one time donations that will last multiple years.
We order a lot of supplies from a non profit state warehouse. Other items come from Habitat for Humanity's Vancouver Re-Store, Scrap in Portland, Goodwill, Value village, and garage sales. When quality and quantity matter, we also order from art supply businesses, with preference for local sources.
