If you encounter any major issues or concerns, we encourage students to first reach out to their respective national committees. Committee will assist in addressing the matter and finding a resolution. If necessary, the national secretary will also engage with the host or sending country.Â
IAESTE Global also provides the option of involving a mediator, known as the Ombudsperson. However, we encourage students to explore this avenue only if their concerns cannot be resolved through direct communication between their committees. Complaints should be directed to the Ombudsperson no later than six months after the event, and this should be considered the final recourse for addressing complaints. Each case handled by the Ombudsperson will be documented in the Annual Report and presented at the General Conference during the Annual Conference (AC).
