Hearing Screening

Auditory acuity screening is an important component of health promotion and disease prevention strategies used in the health office. The purpose of school auditory screening program is to identify students with hearing loss that may impact their intellectual, emotional, social, speech, or language development. If not completed at your childs' annual checkup, auditory screenings occur annually in grades K-3 at the elementary school. If your child is referred for further evaluation you will receive a form for your healthcare provider to fill out, please remember to return the completed form to me.
