All students with legitimate reasons may be excused from PE for two consecutive days with a written note from a parent/guardian. Thereafter a doctor’s note is required. If the original doctor's note indicates a follow up with a specialist is required, notes from the specialist will need to be sent in as well. For the safety and well being of your child, students will not be released back to full activity, including recess, without the appropriate medical clearance.

If there is a change in your child's condition such as he or she now requires crutches, has a cast or brace, needs a wheelchair or has any other limitations, on the first day back to school please stop by my office with the doctor's note to discuss assistance your child may need throughout the day.
