  • Tom Giambelluca, Han Tseng, Aurora Kagawa-Viviani, and Abby Frazier all presented their research at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting in Washington D.C. December 10-14. Congrats!

  • Congratulations to Abby Frazier, Keith Bettinger, Camilo Mora and others on their Nature Climate Change publication entitled: "Broad Threat to Humanity from cumulative climate hazards intensified by greenhouse gas emissions."

  • Abby Frazier presented her work on Drought Impacts and Management in Hawai‘i and the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands at the Department of Geography and Environment Seminar series, November 1.

  • Congratulations Aurora Kagawa-Viviani, Matthew Lucas, and Thomas Giambelluca on publishing their paper in Ecology and Society. This paper examines "Spatial patterns of seasonal crop production suggest coordination within and across dryland agricultural systems of Hawaiʻi Island".

  • The lab welcomes Kristen Sanfilippo, a new master's student! She's planning to work on a Climate Downscaling project in the Hawaiian Islands.
