See the article in the December issue of Hawaii Business Magazine, "Finding the Signal Amid all the Noise" by Dennis Hollier. The article addresses climate change in Hawaii and is based on interviews with several UH climate scientists including Camilo Mora (Geography), Ruth Gates (HIMB), Axel Timmermann (IPRC and Oceanography), Chip Fletcher (SOEST), and Tom Giambelluca.
Tom Giambelluca is offering his graduate climatology seminar. Eight students are enrolled.
Dr. Yoshiyuki Miyazawa, ecophysiologist and long time collaborator, joined the laboratory in November.
