This script will allow users to select two seismic layers from the Desktop Explorer and show the result of subtracting the second layer from the first, taking into account any trace processors.

In order to define this contextual action, you will need to put this script into a folder in your Python directory called Contextual_XSection_Seismic_Layer_Nodes.

If you have done this correctly, you should see ShowDifference.py among the options when selecting multiple layers from the Desktop Explorer and right-clicking.

After executing the contextual script, the desktop should look something like the following.
