Reading: Summer Reading Skills 

Join a individualized program that includes engaging online instruction, independent reading in great books, and a skilled/encouraging teacher offered through Weber State University. Students join individually. The program offers varied levels for each grade. The lessons run about 30 minutes with 2-3 lessons per week for 5-6 weeks. These are recommendations but the program is completely self-paced. Weber State does charge for this program. 

Writing: Utah Compose

Write any kind of paper you would like. Experiment with persuasive, how-to, narrative, and expository. Use the lessons to improve your skills.

Math: Iready/IXL

Students will have the opportunity to keep working towards completing their path in the Iready math program. This program teaches grade level math skills, loops back and reviews previous skills, allows practice to achieve mastery, and provides ongoing assessment to assure retention. Students may email me if they would like to be approved for a higher level.
