156B Week 7
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Analysis:
SMA wires won't work for the required bending.
Design:
A cascaded 1 DOF test box was printed and assembled.
An overtube variation of our design was printed.
Test:
After failure of the SMA we decided to use cables to actuate the endoscope.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Determined our end product goal. (Prove multi-actuated segments possible with cables)
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Jorge: Fix mechanical design to house endoscope camera.
George: Modify testbox design.
Kazu: Modify overtube design.
