156B Week 2
Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Analysis:
The mechanical design can appropriately house the SMA wires.
Design:
The mechanical design is being finalized and printed so that it can be tested.
The overtube design will be developed in parallel with the original endoscope project.
Tests:
Further tests on the SMA wires need to be conducted to characterize it and control it.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Finalized mechanical design by combining both iterations.
Conducted preliminary tests on the SMA wires.
Discussed the future goal of the project.
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Kazu: Conduct tests on purchased SMA wires.
Avinash: Put together design for test table for SMA wires.
Jorge: Finalize the first iteration of the mechanical design of the endoscope.
George: Continue to contact the overtube guy | CAD the organ obstacle course.
