boiled Swiss Chard with white sauce

chop stems and leaves

boil water

add a pinch of salt and the chopped stems and leaves to boiling water for less than 3 minutes (until softened)

Drain water.


In the pan make a white sauce by mixing

1/2 tablespoon butter

1/2 tablespoon flour

1/2 cup milk


Pour white sauce over veggies, serve with a hard boiled egg sliced
