ACADEMIC INELIGIBILITY
Any student receiving an "F" in any class, or a current GPA below 2.0 will be ineligible. Eligibility will be considered every two weeks. The grade level Team Leader will inform students who have below a 2.0 of their ineligibility. Students who are ineligible, due to a failing grade in a class, will be notified by the classroom teacher.
1. For students whose ineligibility is due to a failing grade, at the end of those two weeks, it is the student's responsibility to pick up a Student Eligibility Card from the Main Office and obtain a grade update from the teacher issuing the failing grade.
IF:
(a) The grade is a "D" or higher, the student regains his/her eligibility.
(b) The grade remains an "F,” the student will remain ineligible until he/she is able to raise his/her grade to a “D” or higher.
2. For students whose eligibility is due to a current GPA below 2.0, at the end of those two weeks, it is the student’s responsibility to make an appointment with the Team Leader to review their current GPA and discuss eligibility.
IF:
(a) The current GPA is at a 2.0 or higher, the student regains his/her eligibility.
(b) The current GPA is below a 2.0, the student continues to be ineligible for at least two more weeks.
