Welding
We offer both Introductory and Intermediate levels of welding courses for our BTPS students through the Lakeland / BTPS partnership, who can build skills in welding, even with no experience in the trade.
The course incorporates both theory and lab practical applications. In the theory portion, the students learn the personal safety and welding safety guidelines. The practical component includes learning how to use industry hand and power tools, how to use oxy/fuel equipment safely and simple shield metal arc and gas metal arc welding techniques.
With this hands-on learning experience, students will gain an understanding of what it takes to work in the welding industry.
