4) Approach your school principal to discuss if this is a good fit for the student's schedule and confirm the student's eligility
5) The school principal will forward the registration documents to central intake to be processed.
(Note: Dual Credit is designed primarily for Grade 12 students)

Every Friday: 8:30 - 4:30 pm (Vermilion campus)
Students will attend the Vermilion Campus at the Lakeland School of Technology and Trades shop.

General Information Items for AST and WDA:
Limit: maximum of 12 students - seats will be assigned on a First-Come, First-Served Basis, so the first to be approved by their school will be considered first for enrollment. (How to Apply below)
Transportation: in accordance with Buffalo Trail Public Schools Administrative Procedure 701.4AP Student Transportation, parents are encouraged to give consideration to any factor that will contribute to the safest transportation options available for their students.

How to Apply
Meet with your school principal to express your interest and your principal will advise you on your eligibility. Note that if you are under 18 years of age, your forms will require the signature of your parent or guardian.
Ensure you have completed the prerequisites prior to the program start date.
Design your timetable to accommodate the Dual Credit program of your interest.
Your school will guide you with the registration steps.
Admission and Process
Admission is 1st-come-1st-serve and if student interest is higher than available seats (Automotive and Welding max 12, Psychology and Sociology max 25), then students are accepted through a selection process. For this reason it is important to express your interest and complete all application requirements early and on time.
Eligible students: Dual Credit programs are designed primarily for Gr 12 students
