MARKS/CREDITS:

School of Hope online Dual Credit courses gives the student 2-sets of marks.

For example: the Hairstyling course gives the student:

-3 CTS credits (HSA 3900, 3406, 3411)

-1 college credit (their reg process registers the student with both School of Hope and Lakeland College and now the student has a college student number)

Attendance:

It is STRONGLY recommended that BTPS students interested in taking these dual credit courses DO NOT attend the synchronous course offerings as these class times DO NOT mirror our BTPS class times - they are delivered by the School of Hope. While synchronous learning is perhaps the best option for online learning, asynchronous delivery of these dual credit courses will not interrupt other learning the student is engaged with in their home school. You should consider this when encouraging student applications for these on-line dual credit courses. It may also be prudent to consider students who do not have a full course load so they have the time, to attend to this learning.
