Water

Most houses are outfitted with water efficient taps and shower heads, but there's a lot to be done!

Found a leaky toilet, sink, or shower head? Please contact your maintenance manager!

Saving water is easy!

Follow some of these easy steps:

    • Shorten those showers. Try to beat a 5-min playlist! Even a few minute reduction can save up to 700 gallons per month.

    • Or...Turn off the shower when lathering up and shampooing

    • Turn off the water while brushing your teeth or shaving. This can save 3 gallons each day.

    • Use the garbage disposal only when necessary and compost more.

    • In the garden, put a layer of mulch around trees and plants to slow down evaporation.

    • Hand wash your clothes in a bucket of cold water!

    • Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth

    • If your toilet takes a long time to flush or makes noises between flushing, its leaking- contact your maintenance manager

    • If your sink is leaking, contact your maintenance manager
