Assistant Central Food and Supplies Supervisor

Available positions:
Rochdale Apartments
20 hrs. / wk.
Must be eligible to live in Rochdale
Must be skilled with spreadsheets
Must be calm under pressure
Must have good organizational and customer service skills.
AdCom
8 hrs./wk.
Act as the primary resource for members making requests to the BSC Administrative Committee.
Attend all Administrative Committee (AdCom) meetings, AdHoc meetings, and screening meetings
Assist members with requests that come before the committee, as well as in any potential appeals of those decisions.
Member Education
Up to 30 hours a semester in Spring and Fall and 20 in Summer.
Facilitate Consent Talks at various BSC Houses.
Anti-Oppression Education Coordinator
Up to 55 hours a semester in Fall and Spring and 30 in Summer.
Train Anti-Oppression Working Group Members.
Organize and schedule Anti-Oppression Education Talks at the Various BSC Houses.
Anti-Oppression Working Group Member
Up to 30 hours a semester in Spring and Fall and 20 in Summer.
Facilitate Anti-Oppression Talks at various BSC Houses.
Conduct Committee
2 hrs./wk.
Hear conduct cases and interpret the related policies.
Maintain confidentiality
Board
Committee Administrative Assistant
5 hrs./wk.
Workshift only.
This job is 100% REMOTE and requires the AA to have a working laptop/computer and stable internet access.
MUST COMMIT AND ATTEND ALL SCHEDULED WEEKLY MEETINGS ON TIME
Typically on either Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday evenings.
Must be experienced in Google Suite and type at least 60-70 WPM.
Experience with taking and transcribing meeting minutes preferred.
REQUIRES A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT starting in Fall.
During Spring and Fall, this job only covers workshift.
Preference to candidates who do not hold another BSC position or house manager position.
CFS
CFS Administrative Assistant - Hiring for Spring
15 hours between Monday - Friday 8a - 5p
Help run CFS.
Must be highly organized.
Must be fluent in Microsoft Office and databased and type at least 60 WPM.
Dump Run Coordinator - Hiring for Spring
10 hrs/wk. (in 3 hour blocks between 10-5 M-F)
Must be at least 20 y/o for insurance purposes.
Must have a clean California drivers license.
Drive the truck! Pick stuff up!
Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
Development
Publications Coordinator - Hiring for Spring
9-12 hrs./wk.
Design and publish printed information that is released by the BSC for fundraising and alumni organizing efforts, including, for example, pamphlets, newsletters, fliers, event invitations, solicitation campaign material, etc.
Must be fluent in desktop publishing software (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Quark, etc.) as well as Microsoft Word.
Development and Alumni Relations Committee - Hiring for Spring
5 hrs./wk.
Help with fundraising and event planning!
Have fun and make sure others do too!

Members: Temporary Sub-for-Pay Jobs Available!
The BSC often needs temporary workers to assist in the operations when workloads increase or when assigned workers are absent. We are now accepting applications from individuals interested in on-call job opportunities. There is no guarantee that work will be available, which departments will need workers or the duration of the assignment. We will give priority to current members, but everyone is welcome to apply.
