Job Description
The Cooperative Internet Review Committee (CIRCom) will create a centralized record-keeping program, testing and documenting the state of network relevant infrastructure at all individual units by the end of the working semester. The taskforce will create a thorough report for each unit inspected, and provide recommendations, if appropriate, for unit-level network/maintenance managers and the Network Manager Coordinator.
Duties:
Create centralized documentation of the networks, which will be shared with unit-level network managers and/or facilities managers
Compile a comprehensive list of network issues and divide them between issues that need to be addressed immediately, issues that need to be addressed in the short term (within the next semester), or issues that need to be addressed in the long term (within the next year or more).
Continue to monitor and keep track of internet issues across the units as reported by unit-level network managers and RFFM.
Coordinate work schedules and meetings as needed among themselves, and send the results of their work to the NMC and unit-level network managers.
Assist the Network Manager Coordinator and unit-level network managers with small-scale projects at the discretion of the NMC and unit-level NMs.
For problems that are out of the CIRCom members’ ability, professional internet contractors and personnel will be located and hired by the operations manager.
