CFS Operations Associate
General job description: A CFS Operations Associate (CFSOA) receives shipments from vendors, packs orders for delivery to BSC units, and inventories food, supplies, and furniture in CFS.
Required scheduling availability: nine hours between Monday - Friday 8a - 1p
Specific responsibilities:
Receive shipments from vendors, adhering to the principles of the receiving process
Pack orders for shipment
Create and maintain accurate inventory records
Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
Train and supervise CFS workshifters
Support CFS Supervisor (CFSS) and Assistant CFS Supervisor (ACFSS) in ensuring CFS remains a safe and healthy work environment
Other duties assigned by CFSS or ACFSS
Skills and knowledge required:
Ability and willingness to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
Well-organized, reliable, and responsible
Ability to create and maintain cordial and professional working relationships with co-workers.
Good verbal communication skills
Must earn ServSafe Food Handler certification within two weeks of hire
Eligibility requirements:
Must be a BSC member in good standing for the duration of the employment period
Term of job: Indefinite, Fall and Spring semesters only
Hours per week: Nine
