Administrative Committee Members are responsible for hearing cases submitted to the Administrative Committee involving but not limited to emergency grants, payment plans, rent credits, membership reinstatements, and waivers of late cancellation penalties.
They may be asked to assist in gathering relevant information/documentation for cases, and monitor ongoing payment plans. Members will be expected to familiarize themselves with relevant sections of the Administrative Code. Members will also be expected to uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, as they will be handling sensitive information.
Administrative Committee members will generally be responsible for attending one weekly meeting. Additional asynchronous work will be required outside of this meeting.
AdCom members must report conflicts of interest to the AdCom Chair(s).
AdCom members will be compensated 2 hour per week paid workshift (not satisfying house-level workshift) and 1 hour workshift (satisfying house-level workshift)

Hired by: unit-level election Except for the summer of 2025, in which applications go through hiring committee.
