Additional Information
Custodian appraisals can start on March 1st, 2024.
Custodians hired late, on or before March 1, 2024, will have an appraisal and proceed with appraisal timeline expectations.
Any new employee with a hire date of March 2, 2024 or after, will not have an appraisal for the year.
For in-district transfers, an employee who transfers from one campus/department to another will need an appraisal completed by their former supervisor if the transfer date is on or after March 1. If before March 1, the new supervisor will complete the appraisal.
Appraisers should be administrators who have supervisory rights to professionally evaluate classified and non-teaching professional/non-campus administrator staff. Exceptions are only made in rare circumstances.
