Campus-Based Non-Teaching Professional Appraisal
Overview
In order to align district expectations, the Campus-Based NTP Appraisal Rubric was revised for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Campus-Based Non-Teaching Professional Appraisal Plan covers 5 Areas:
Growth & Reflection
Collaboration & Contributions
Planning & Resources
Communication & Relationships
Professional Standards
Important Information
*New this year: There are new recommended appraisal activities to provide employees timely feedback and opportunities for candid conversations with their appraisers. These activities are recommended, not required.
Employees may complete a recommended Individual Learning Plan (Goal Setting) prior to the Beginning of Year (BOY) and End of Year (EOY) conference.
Appraisers and employees may also have a conference at the beginning, middle, and end of the year to discuss expectations and goals, progress and adjustments, and successes and areas for growth.
Please see the Campus NTP Appraisal timeline below for dates and details.
Additional Information
All Campus-Based Non-Teaching Professionals (Instructional Coaches, Project Specialist, etc.) will be evaluated annually by a campus administrator.
Any new employee with a hire date of January 10 or after, will not have an appraisal for the year.
For in-district transfers, an employee who transfers from one campus/department to another will need an appraisal completed by their former supervisor if the transfer date is on or after January 10. If before January 10, the new supervisor will complete the appraisal.
Appraisers should be administrators who have supervisory rights to professionally evaluate campus staff.
