Objective
This module will instruct the candidate on the basic concept of edTPA at UNC Asheville. By the end of this module, the candidate will: Increase knowledge and understanding of the edTPA process, context, procedures, resources and support; and know what it means for candidate responsibility in their teaching semester.
Develop a basic understanding of what is edTPA.
Learn why edTPA is used at UNC Asheville
Understand the necessary steps involved in successfully completing the edTPA process.
Realize the procedures three semester plan for completing the edTPA process.
Know when and who to ask for more help.
Be able to answer a variety of basic edTPA questions.
Procedure
The candidate will:
review the items (linked) listed under the Content section.
take the online edTPA test listed under the Assessment section.
review the items listed under the Resources section for further reference.
