Summer Bridge 2025: (More information and REGISTER HERE)

• August 4 - 8th 

• Choose 8:30 - 11:30 AM - or - 12:30 - 3:30PM 

• Earn 0.25 credits

• Tours, scavenger hunts, advice from juniors & seniors, activities, practice going to classes with a mini-schedule day and more!

9th Grade Day / Transition Day / Orientation Day

• Wednesday, Sept. 3rd

• Official first day for Grade 9(only 9th graders attend)

• Attendance is taken

• Assembly, Activity Fair, & Mini-classes (meet your teachers and classmates)

UO Summer Sail (More information & register here)

• Earn credits 

• Meet college students & professors

• Choose an area of interest to explore

• Registration usually opens in the spring, around March/April

4J Summer Intensives - TBD

• Take classes at ANY 4J high school

• Earn credits in core classes or electives!

Ms. Jackie is the 9th Grade Transition Coordinator

She is not a counselor, but has been a teacher and can help with many things!

If you'd like to meet with her: 

1. Fill in the Ms. Jackie - Appointment Request  Google Form. 

2. Wait to receive a note delivered to your class 

• You will not be called out during Core Classes (English, Global Studies, Math, Science, or World Language).

We can work on all kinds of things, including:

• • Organization systems 

  • Study habits, & tricks

  • How to talk to or email your teacher(s)

  • Assignments (essays, math homework, etc.)

  • Resources or additional supports (mental health, food/clothing, etc.,) 

  • If you're not sure if I can help with what you need, that's OK. Let's find out!
