Middle school has seven periods, and these seven periods are the same classes every day. The classes are just shorter on Wednesdays and with no advisory.
Sheldon High school has only four periods per day, but there are two different schedules based on weather or not it is an "A" day or a "B" day, so really, there are eight periods total. It depends on the week, but you'll either have 3 "A" days and 2 "B" days, or the opposite. Every week you'll have advisory on Tuesday or Thursday, regardless of wether it is an "A" day or "B" day, on these days classes are 75 minutes instead of 90 minutes. Wednesday is also a short day, when school ends at 2:30. There are also some "C" days where you go through all eight periods but classes are pretty short.

You can do the normal path, there are CTEs you can take that specialize in certain categories or careers, you can choose to take AP (Advanced Placement) classes, you can also take Honors, or you can take IHS (International High School). You also have a lot of specific and special electives to choose from.

High school have a bigger variety of electives, and they vary from school to school. There are not only the usual study hall, STEM/STEAM, music, but there are also many other electives.! Instead of music, you could take band or choir. Instead of technology, you could take programming or robotics. There are also a lot more options, like forestry, book-making, and even business! For foreign languages, you can take Spanish, French, and Japanese! Some high schools may even offer a chance to learn Latin, which can help with reading comprehension.
In middle school, when you move to high school, it's called a promotion.
In high school, after graduation you either move to college or stop going to school altogether. You do need to meet certain requirements to graduate, and you can even graduate a year early if you meet these requirements in your junior year. If you don't meet these requirements by the end of your senior year, you will not graduated from high school. You can take summer school or an extra year to make up for it, but this is not required.
