Best College Baseball Programs of All Time

#1: Fordham University
You may not know this team but Fordham has won 4,551 games over the last 180 years. That is the most wins in NCAA Baseball by about 1,000 wins. The second team to win this much would be Texas with 3,576 wins. Fordham has had six tournament appearances, but they haven’t had much success recently, last appearing in the tournament in 2019.
#2: Louisiana State University, LSU
LSU has had a lot of success recently, being ranked second in the country and having a record of 20 - 1. In the 2023 season they won the national championship and produced the first overall pick in the MLB draft, Paul Skenes. He won the 2024 NL Jackie Robison Rookie of the Year Award and has been great for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has won a total of 170 games, which is great for this early in his career. LSU has also produced 123 MLB players. One being Alex Bregman, who has won a Gold Glove award and is a two time all star and World Series champ.
#3: University of Southern California, USC
Over the last 136 years, USC has won 12 national championships and produced 119 players– the most of all time. USC had produced many players in the MLB such as Randy Johnson. One of the best pitchers of all time, his fastest pitch being 102 mph and then most of the radar guns were not accurate. Randy Johnson also had a total of 4,875 career strikeouts. USC also had one of the best hitters of all time. Mark Mcgwire who had 583 home runs in his career, the 11th most home runs of all time. Therefore, USC is the 3rd best baseball program of all time.
