One Passes: What To Do For Summer?

Do you want to spend more time with your family? Do you like going to pools, parks, and museums? Do you want to have an affordable summer, but still have plenty of fun?

In Eugene, Oregon we have an opportunity to go to swimming pools, museums, golf courses, trampoline parks, and more for just $60 in total! It is an easy, affordable way to have fun with your family in the summer!

This opportunity is called the Eugene One Passes! It is a more affordable way for people to enjoy summer activities with their family. The passes are only available for people that are ages 18 and under. All sales for these One Passess begin on Monday, May 19 at 8 a.m, and you can pick up your One Pass card on the same day at Amazon pool, Echo Hollow pool, or Sheldon Pool. You need to bring your receipt or photo ID in order to get the card. You cannot replace your card, so if you lose it, it’s gone. 

When you go to the included places, you show the person at the counter your card and one of the workers will scan it. You are not allowed to take a photo of your card and to show it to them. You cannot give the card to someone else. Also, you can only visit one of these places a day, so if you wanted to go to the pool, you could not go to the trampoline park with the One Pass on the same day.

Springfield Public School’s offer a district paid One Pass, which means you don’t have to pay those $60 to get a One Pass. Because of this you can go to fun places for free. The rules still apply though, because after all, it is still a One Pass. Willamalane and the City of Eugene also sell One Passes, each selling about 5,500 passes each year. 

One Passes are super popular. In 2024,  roughly 69,000 kids used a One Pass. In 2021, the Springfield Public Schools bought up to 4,000 One Passes for their students. The places included with the pass are along LTD bus routes, so they’re easy to get to with public transportation, making it even more accessible. 

You should get a One Pass, because it is an easy way to afford things that you could do and would otherwise cost a lot of money. You can spend time with your family at a low cost and enjoy your summer. It is a perfect way to spend your summer vacation! So, get a One Pass today!
