There are many more places to travel to in the world than we think. From a tropical climate like Hawaii to the cold snowy Alps in France. In this article we will be exploring and discussing different places that will be very good to travel for someone who likes cool, cold climates or for people who like hot and tropical environments.
The first place that we will be exploring will be suitable for people who like an adventure and a cold climate in the winter. This destination is called Zermatt and it is located in southern Switzerland. This town area includes multiple hotels, resorts and railways with exclusive access to a great view of the Matterhorn. Another key takeaway of this town is that Zermatt is a car-free village meaning that you either have to ride a bike, walk or take the train.

As mentioned before, this village is home to the iconic, world famous Matterhorn which has the tallest gondola in the alps and reaches 3,883m. It can get a little expensive when 1 ticket for the gondola costs $128 per person. If you have a decent budget you can afford to stay at one of the best hotels in the alps with a great view of the Matterhorn. The Matterhorn isn't the only attraction in Zermatt. You can walk the beautiful cobblestone streets and enjoy a delicious lunch with a great view of the Matterhorn in the background.
The second place that we will be exploring is Rome, Italy. This destination has been known for its beautiful views of the ancient architecture left behind from the people that were once there before. This destination features many museums and sites with a lot of history. One of these places is not really in Italy but it's in the heart of Rome which is the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. This place features a ton of art and culture on the walls. The big takeaway of the Sistine Chapel is the 16th century Michelangelo's ceiling painting, which is known worldwide. The Sistine Chapel isn't the only good place to visit in Vatican City. There's also Saint Peter’s Basilica which is also a masterpiece of architecture that represents the spiritual center of the Roman Catholic Church. Now back to Italy, some of the best places to visit in Rome include the Colosseum.
Inside the Colosseum in Rome, Italy
The Colosseum is known for its history because it has once been an arena for gladiators. It wasn't just for gladiator fights. There was once a naval battle that took place in the Colosseum when emperor Titus ordered the place to be flooded in order for a reenactment of a naval battle. In 2007 it was added to the 7 wonders of the world, making it a very popular place to visit. The image above is the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. There is a lot more than ancient architecture that attracts people to Rome, food is also a very big attraction. Italy has one of the best restaurants including Tonnarello San Pietro restaurant. This restaurant has had over 7,400 five-star reviews out of 7,775 total reviews. You can find basically every Italian signature dish here like top rated carbonara and much more.
The third and final place we will be exploring is the city of Paris in France. Paris is known for its Eiffel Tower and the Catacombs but there is still much more to explore. The Louvre museum, which is known for the famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, is a very enjoyable experience for art lovers. The ticket prices for entry start at $26 which is not at all bad. Another place you can visit that is very stunning is the Eiffel Tower, located in the heart of Paris. From here you can see the entire city and see the sunset in the evening. The ticket prices for the very top start at $38.86 or 33 euros, which is pretty good for a stunning view of the city. Not only does Paris have good views and artwork but they also have great food. They have some of the finest restaurants like Sacrée Fleur Montmartre, a famous restaurant in north Paris. This place serves many dishes like Frog Legs, Escargrot, and many more delicious meals. France has many things for different people and it is a very good quality experience if you choose to visit it.
There are many different places to visit in Europe and different cultures and experiences to explore. A piece of advice I would give you is just to try new things and meet new people on the way, and finally just to have fun. A quote that I really like is "To travel is to live" by Hans Christian Andersen, a Nordic writer.
