I advise a digital media class for 7th and 8th grade students at Cal Young Middle School in Eugene, Oregon. Students design, write, and published several editions every year of the school website. The goal for this class is to provide a place where students can learn strong leadership and collaboration skills, real life job experience, along with solid writing and web design skills. It has been a joy watching students take the helm of ship and guide it to success.
