My duty to this newspaper is to research topics and write about such. The articles differ based upon the genre. The most notable of which are opinion and feature articles. I personally by a large margin favor, opinion articles. I find it to be an enjoyable task to lay out evidence and so precisely take the audience towards your side based on where the evidence leads. Expressing one’s beliefs is an essential part of life. Freedom of speech I think is a right, so fundamental to the human experience that its absence leaves such unrecognizable. Though this is not to say that features are so dreadful. The first feature I wrote was less than delightful to engage in, but the second was more preferable than the first, though it was more informative if anything. My accomplishments in this field of work, I wouldn’t say are so grand. As a writer of this newspaper, I have written two articles since being appointed to this position. Though I am glad to say I think I have been effective at such. My work’s conclusion has never strayed far from the deadline. I will say though, I have struggled with the word limits. Of which I am glad to hear this has none. As for my goals and values I am unsure at first. I value doing well, I suppose, and hope to in the time I have working here. As for a goal I suppose it may be to write the best articles I can in the time I have. Which aligns to the natural conclusion of my value which I did lay out.
A quote I like quite a bit derives from a show called Demon Slayer. A character named Rengoku uttered, “Set your heart ablaze." This I think was a strong conclusion to a speech he gave the protagonist and company.
