Climate Change and Global Warming

Climate change and global warming are impacting our planet. We need to stop this because our planet is in danger and humans are causing it. It is killing the human race and our environment.
One of the reasons climate change exists is because of fossil fuels. Gale In Context said that, “Every year, 7 million people die because of air pollution, ‘which is principally driven by fossil fuels.’” This shows that climate change is very consequential and harms our planet. The evidence proves that humans need to stop creating fossil fuels or more people will die.
Another thing causing global warming and climate change are greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide blocks warm wavelengths leaving the earth, making our planet warmer. “Rising CO2 levels trap excessive amounts of heat and could raise global air temperatures to dangerous levels,” according to Gale.
Something similar to the effects of climate change are that of global warming. Global warming causes more hurricanes, which causes the population of mosquitoes to increase. Mosquitoes carry diseases so more mosquitoes means more sick people. Eventually, this leads to more people dying from global warming.
Some people may say that climate change isn’t real because they think that the wildfires are just due to “nature” and not caused by humans. Another theory is that the ice at the poles isn’t melting, and that people are just making it up. And if it was, it's not because of climate change, but the truth is that both of those events are results of climate change and global warming. For example, studies have found that the majority of acres lost to wildfires were caused by human equipment, power lines, and arson. This suggests that humans are causing wildfires and you can’t escape that. As for the ice? Global warming is caused by greenhouse gasses causing the heat to become trapped in the earth. This makes more and more ice melt, destroying animals' homes. Climate change is a real problem that, as you can see, is destroying our planet.
Wondering how we could possibly solve this? Well here’s how. First, one of the things we can do is waste less of our gas so less carbon dioxide is being pumped into the air. Another thing we can do is replant all of the trees we have cut down for logging. These trees grow from the carbon dioxide in the air so more trees to use it means less CO2 in the air. My final solution is found in algae. Algae could be a substitute for fossil fuels and could power our cars making our planet a better place. Now that I have shown you some ways you can stop climate change, it’s up to you to follow through.
In conclusion, our world is being destroyed by climate change and global warming. This is something that a lot of people choose to ignore, but if we don’t stop this, it will become unavoidable. It’s all around us, with wildfires, ice caps melting, hurricanes, and diseases. This isn’t just hurting our planet, it’s hurting us. People, animals, plants, and more are dying from climate change and global warming. So stop wasting materials and recycle what you have, plant a tree for every one cut down. If we unite together we can stop climate change and global warming. So stand up and recognize what is happening around us, together we can stop climate change.
