The best place to be in the world is a personal opinion. I can’t force someone to like being in a snowy climate and someone can't force me to like being at the beach. It all depends on what you like. Some people's perfect vacation spot is at a beach, in a hot climate while not having to worry about plans for the upcoming day. Others enjoy a colder climate with much to do in the day to come, such as touring ancient buildings or going to a museum. That being said, there are places that are more popular than the rest. Some of the most popular travel destinations of 2024 are Yamaguchi (Japan), Maui (Hawaii), Geneva (Switzerland), Bannau Brycheiniog (Wales), and Hurghada (Egypt). But what makes these places so special that makes people want to visit them so much?
Maui, Hawaii
Maui, Hawaii is a very beautiful place to visit in the world. It has breathtaking views of beaches and delicious food. There are many amazing hotels and resorts in Maui as well. Maui also has awesome shopping malls to visit. This island is also a super fun place for young children.
An amazing resort to visit while in Maui, Hawaii is the Hyatt Regency Resort. This resort has four different pools and one of them is connected to a water playground for kids. The Hyatt Regency is right next to the beach, so you can swim and play with the waves. This resort also has many different birds that you can interact with too. In the lobby there are many parrots that you can enjoy looking at and talking to. This resort is also a half mile away from Whalers Village. Whalers Village is a very large outdoor shopping mall. When my family and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency resort we were able to walk from the resort to the Whalers Village and shop there. Walking was convenient because then we did not have to deal with parking our car at this busy shopping mall.
Road To Hana is a great activity to do if you want a day of chill, peace and quiet. Road To Hana is a 68 mile car drive around the island. This is such a beautiful stretch of land and an unforgettable drive. On this drive you get to look at many very pretty beaches and you also get to drive past many cool historical sights. The Road To Hana takes about 12 hours to complete but it is totally worth the time because this long drive has breathtaking views.
Right next to the Hyatt Regency Resort is the Ka’anapali Golf Courses. It is less than a mile away from the Hyatt Resort and is a fun and easy day activity. This golf course is Maui’s only nine-hole FootGolf course. All ages can play at this golf course and young children could have fun walking in the green grass and seeing all the Coconut Trees as they golf. Golfing at the Ka’anapali golf course would be a very fun activity to do if you enjoy playing golf.
Haleakala Volcano Crater is the main attraction at Haleakala National Park. The Haleakala Crater is a dormant volcano that last erupted in the 1600’s. Nowadays, at the Haleakala National park you can get an up close view of this beautiful crater if you hike or bike up it. You can even watch the sunset from on top of this volcano crater if you make a reservation on the Haleakala National Park website.
Maui, Hawaii is an incredible place to visit in the world! There are so many fun activities to do in Maui, Hawaii! If you ever get to go to Maui, Hawaii I hope you get to do some of these amazing activities!
