How Big Should a Clock Be?

One of the best things about clocks is that, particularly if they're analogue, they come in all shapes and sizes. While the typical wall clock is around 12 inches in diameter, you can find all sorts of versions that are smaller and larger.

As for the correct size for you, it depends primarily on the rest of the wall:

You can easily go over 20 inches if your new clock is going to be the main decorative feature on a bare wall: nothing is stopping you!

Think of your new clock in relation to it if you already have a big painting, image or some other sort of large focal element on it: it's probably better to keep it small; Visit now for nixie clock.

From where do you need to read it? You can easily go for smaller analogue or digital clocks if the clock is right above your desk, but if you're mostly looking at it from the couch on the other side of the building, you should go for a big, easy to read analogue clock (over 20 inches).
