Background

"Just Pickin'" is an instrumental track John Fogerty recorded in spring 1997. It was initially released on an Australian CD single in June 1997 and as a bonus track of the remastered version of the Blue Moon Swamp album in 2004.

The song was originally recorded by American blues guitarist and singer Freddie King in 1961.

John Fogerty played the song during the Blue Velvets era (1959-1964). He

hasn't performed it live in concert in later years.
