Quanafi names are relatively simple in construction...

Desa Qua Ki

So if Desaqua were introducing herself to say the new descubralian head of state (who would want to know her personal name) she would be "Desa Qua" or "Leader of the Clan of Desa."

If she were at the Council of Powers (Qua Salyital), among relative equals (rare for her), she would be "Desa" or if they were being very respectful, just "Qua" (as Desa Qua and Joran Qua share the role of Qua over all the clans).

Normally, within the clan, titles and personal names are used. (rather like "Hey, it's Bob the Baker!") As such, her daughter would be "Opiki" or "Qua-na Opiki" (Brightness or Leader's-Child Brightness). It would be impolite and rather pointless to refer to Desaqua as just "Ki" (even her own mother wouldn't in adulthood, she'd just call her "Na" or "Child"). Opiki would similarly call her mom "Sagyel" (mother), never "Ki."

If you had two apprentice archers (ria tshi) both of the moon clan (Maina) instead of being Maina Riatshi Jo and Maina Riatshi Hari they would just be Jo (river) and Hari (tears) among that group.

They say the personal name is for children and for those who have passed on.

Yawurenyi names are much much much more complex, in formation and usage. You should never have to use more than one name unless you are performing a naming ceremony or a ritual to find someone who has gone missing. Names are thought to have strong religious power...

I kinda made up life events and elemental phrase of significance, because most people don't actually have them. A better example might be "speaks 15 languages" or "won Tour de France" for the first one, and "Aid of a gentle brook against the roaring fire" if your house catches fire and you are saved by water from a nearby brook. The True name is almost always nonsense, or it may be a mixture of parts of words and expressions from almost any language. Your true name is your spirit's name (I also made mine up). No one else knows your true name (except maybe your wife, if male), you may not even know it.

Everyone knows your "name," people you know well call you by your "nick" or "childhood" names. In private, very close friends and family will call you by your private name. Only your wife if male, and maybe one or two owe-your-life level closest friends know your secret name. A man is expected to tell his wife all his names at some point, though that point may be before they are married or on your deathbed (depends how close you are). It is said that if your secret or true name is spoken, you will know it, no matter where you are or the situation you are in.

How private are these names? A man was dying, they say dead, and his wife, in desperation called to him by his full name (as i outlined above). He came to, but afterwards he got special dispensation to move and change all his names (except his true name which isn't something you can change). Why? Everyone was thinking about his names that they had heard and he just knew it, he felt so akward he couldn't even chat with his friends like normal. And his names weren't even unusual for a man with a very masculine element.

*note that modern Yawu does not presently exist, so i did some weak sound changes from what classical I have.

Myuri

Here's an easy one, Myuri have 2 names, an adult name and a kitten name. They may change their adult name many times in their life, and their kitten name is what their mother cat used to call them when they were kittens and couldn't do more than mew. Giving all the kittens in her litter different sounds in their names, generally with repetition in the names themselves, helps them hear all the sounds from day one and learn to say them themselves.

As is said in the story I linked, the humanoid sentients have a little trouble with Myuri names. As such, they often either make nicknames (often with very bad "so THAT's what that means..." incidents) or use the Myuri's kitten name. As such, some of the most famous Myuri in everyone's history books have gone down through the ages with names like Myamya, Ngunu, and Rairai. It would rather be like if all our history books called George Washington "Sweet Widdle Georgie-poo" -_-

Descubralia use Spanish naming conventions, sometimes pared down to just first and last in the American style.

Prætiridífin refer to each other as:

title surname given ordinal-[if needed] (women generally use: given husband's_given-genitive) (in English terms that would be like Mr. Anders John and his wife Mary of John) 

Ze have a two-syllable descriptive name, such as Dazi (queen-little_butterfly)
