For those of you who have been following the saga of Baby Christopher, we thought you would be interested in this latest news which was recently posted by his dad.

Hey everyone, George here with some actual news.

....The best news: (which is)

No news with Christopher, other than he’s doing very well, learning and growing and becoming more confident in his ability to walk. It is hard to fathom just how far he has come.

You should see how he plays with his sister and brother. He loves to ride on his brother's back.

When they’re not around, he looks for them, saying: “Buh! Buh-buh! Ee-EEE! Ee-EEE!” … He also does this with ...his mother... (“Maaah! Mama!”) and with me (“Die-yie!”).

He likes to go for walks in our neighborhood. He points the directions he wants to go and can be very insistent. Usually, it's to the main road, where he and his mother sit on a very big rock and watch cars go by. Christopher is fascinated by cars.

So sweet. Thank You, Father.

The other day I was cleaning out the folders on my work email. There were more than 700 in the folder “Christopher,” going all the way back to the days before he was born, when we knew only we had a baby with a heart defect on the way.

As I thought back to those days, and to all of the other critical points along the way – the cardiac crash, his journey to Arkansas, the wait for a heart, the call, the kidneys, all of those months in two hospitals, a new kidney … and now – I was amazed.

Thank You, Father, for Your answer to our prayers. (And to all of your prayers, too, friends.) We are so grateful.

We are so blessed.
