The Kyola Regional Government Station Upgrade and Relocation Program is about improving community safety for Kyola as the city expands and the population grows. It seeks to reduce, and where possible, prevent the impact of emergencies should they occur, with particular attention to the protection and preservation of life, property and the environment.

Extensive analysis has been undertaken into where ambulance and fire stations should be located in the Region for at least the next 20 years. The studies identify options as to where new stations will be required to meet current and projected demand as the city grows.

The Station Upgrade and Relocation Program was prepared from study finding and implementation plan has been developed in close consultation with operational staff to determine the most effective way to deliver the recommended service improvements.
